About/Contact

Welcome - about this site and Thornton le Dale Traders Forum

Thornton-Le-Dale is a beautiful and traditional place to live and with something for everyone, it offers an array of independently owned local shops and services, along with a huge range of amenities, activities and events. We are located in the North York Moors National Park, two miles east of Pickering.

With thanks to the strong support of local businesses via the Thornton le Dale Traders Forum, this website was launched to provide you with an ‘information hub’ of the village. The site will be regularly updated by our webmaster, who will endeavour to keep you fully informed of all that is happening in the village including local news, coming events, organisations, services and local business.
