Warrington Guest House

A warm welcome awaits you at Warrington House. This former Coaching Inn dating back to the 18th Century has been tastefully transformed into a delightful place to spend a few days since Jane & Jonathan arrived in 2002. Offering four elegant ensuite rooms, each named after colleges from Jane & Jonathan's birthplace of Cambridge.

On the first floor you will find Magdalene Room, a large double with ensuite shower room. There is a comfortable seating area with two bucket chairs, to view the flat screen tv with freeview built in. A large wooden framed double bed to make your nights sleep as relaxing as possible.

Next to Magdalene is Pembroke Suite, our premier room which we transformed from two rooms into one large suite in 2009. Pembroke enjoys a large bedroom area with King Size bed, large flat screen tv with freeview and seating area. Through from the bedroom is a dressing room before leading into a large bathroom with a curved shower bath. With fresh flowers and fruit upon each visit Pembroke is ideal for a longer stay or that special weekend.

Up on the 2nd floor is Gonville & Caius room, a large room with sofa to enjoy the flat screen tv or just gaze at the views up the village towards the church and beyond from the 3 large windows that give the room that spacious feel. Gonville has a double bed behind a partitioned wall from the lounge area. The room is complimented by the ensuite shower room.

Opposite Gonville on the 2nd floor is St Johns,. This can be used as a double, twin or family room with 2 adults and 1 child. There is a large wood framed bed and single bed as well as a seating area with large flat screen tv. St Johns has a very large bathroom with seperate bath and shower, ideal for a family or mountain bikers returning from Dalby Forest.

All rooms have complimentary tea trays with a selection of teas, fresh ground coffee and mineral waters.

Breakfast is a real treat and the pride of Jonathan & Jane. Using locally sourced products where ever possible you can start with fresh fruit, cereals and fresh juices before enjoying Jonathan's full English or Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs. The choice is yours but whatever you choose, will prepare you perfectly for your day ahead !

Evening meals are available, with prior arrangement. Jonathan changes and updates the menus on a regular basis and the latest menu will be available on our website or we can send one to you upon request. Meals can be ordered at breakfast for that evening. Jonathan uses locally sourced produce in most of his meals and being licensed you can enjoy a wine or local beer with your meal in the comfort of our cosy restaurant area.

On the 1st floor Jane and Jonathan have introduced a local information library and reading room for guests to discover local walks, events in the area during your stay, maps of Dalby Forest and importantly an area for all guests to enjoy free WIFI connection.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing break from the stresses of life or an active weekend or holiday, Warrington House offers you the ideal base from which to enjoy this fantastic area.
